Science To The Street
Powering Progress
CHALLENGE
Originally launched in 2019 by Deerfield Management as the Women in Science Translational Research Symposia, Science to the Street was created to demystify the commercialization journey for women scientists and empower them to bring their innovations to market.
As the initiative expanded, it needed a visual identity that could reflect both its mission and its momentum, something bold, inclusive, and accessible to a wide range of academic and research audiences.
APPROACH
We partnered with the organizers to rebrand the program as Science to the Street, a name that makes its purpose immediately clear: moving scientific breakthroughs out of the lab and into the real world.
The identity system was built to support ongoing events, education, and outreach—balancing academic credibility with boldness and approachability. Design elements reflected progress, diversity, and the transformative power of science when driven by underrepresented voices.
RESULTS
Empowered to Expand
The new branding system elevated Science to the Street with a stronger platform for growth, sharper messaging, and greater visibility among partners, institutions, and emerging women innovators.
With a clear purpose and dynamic visual language, the brand now drives a broader mission—advancing equity in innovation by empowering women scientists with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to lead change.
